(re)thinking improvisation *

Nov 28-30 2011

At the (re)thinking improvisation - international sessions on artistic research in music, which took place Nov 25 to Dec 2 2011, Gerhard Eckel presented the performance version of his work Random Access Lattice, which is a sonic sculpture explored by the audience by means of a hand-held motion-tracked loudspeaker. The presentation was accompanied by a lecture proposing to (re)think improvisation as an epistemic practice.
