On Traces @ PMIL

Anna Nowak, Alexander Gottfarb, Christine Ericsdotter, and Gerhard Eckel presented an intermediate version of the lecture performance On Traces at PMIL (Performance and Multimodal Interaction Lab) of the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. On Traces is an ongoing interdisciplinary research process, which merges the fields of choreography, phonetics and music composition. The On Traces research process extended the CoS project and contributed an important project result in form of a novel software tool allowing to record and playback free-form sound traces in space by means of motion tracking. On Traces will be presented at Tanzquartier Wien in February 2015.
